What Can I Do If an AP Cannot Detect Radar Signals?
An AP uses the dynamic frequency selection (DFS) function to detect radar signals. Upon detecting a radar channel, the AP automatically switches to another channel to prevent radar interference. If the AP cannot detect radar signals, perform the following operations:
- Check whether the AP works on a radar channel. If not, the AP does not switch its channel.
- If the AP works on a radar channel, run the following command in the AP diagnostic view to restore the default radar detection threshold and then check whether radar signals can be detected:
[HUAWEI-diagnose] undo lmac dfs radar-filter sensitivity level
- If the fault persists, run the following command in the AP diagnostic view to lower the radar detection threshold of the AP:
[HUAWEI-diagnose] lmac dfs radar-filter sensitivity level 1
