What Are the Differences Between Wi-Fi Tag Location and Terminal Location?
Both Wi-Fi tag location and terminal location use Wi-Fi-based location technology, and allow APs to scan and identify Wi-Fi signals. The difference is that the objects to be located are different.
- Wi-Fi tags are active electronic tags. They send Wi-Fi-compliant signals and can be attached to objects or worn by people.
- Wi-Fi terminals refer to STAs such as Wi-Fi-supported mobile phones, tablets, and laptops.
