Checking Interface Information
Check Criteria
- The interface is in normal state.
- The negotiation mode of the interface is correct. The negotiation modes of the two connected interfaces must be the same. No interface is in half-duplex mode.
- The interface configuration is proper.
- There are not a large number of error packets or packet loss on the interface.
Procedure
- Run the display interface command to check whether the interface negotiation mode is correct.
- Run the display current-configuration interface command to check whether the interface configuration is correct.
- Run the display interface brief command to check whether the Up/Down state of the interface is normal.
- Run the display ip interface command to check whether the interface statistics are normal and whether there are error packets or a large number of lost packets on the interface during service running.
