Cause Analysis
PoE injectors are installed in waterproof boxes. However, a large amount of condensation exists in the waterproof boxes due to the damp environment in metro tunnels during commissioning, and water flows into the PoE injectors along the cables. As a result, the PoE injectors are damaged.
Procedure
- Install a PoE injector in the waterproof box horizontally rather than vertically, and make drip loops for the cables connected to the PoE injector.

In a damp environment, take waterproof measures when installing a PoE injector and accessories. Properly deploy a PoE injector and accessories in a waterproof box and do not make ports face upwards.
