Power Supply: The AC Power Module Is Faulty
Symptom
The power module is faulty.
Possible Causes
- An exception occurs on the input voltage.
- The power cable is not properly connected.
Procedure
- Test the input voltage.
If possible, use a multimeter to test the input voltage. Determine whether the input voltage is normal based on the operating voltage range of a power module. If not, find an environment with a stable voltage.
- Remove and insert the power module.
Remove and insert the power module and power cable to verify that they are securely inserted.
- Perform a cross test on the power module.
Insert the faulty power module into a normal device, or insert a normal power module into the local device. If the fault occurs when the faulty power module is inserted into another normal device, return and repair the power module.
- If the fault occurs when a normal power module is inserted into the local device, contact technical support personnel.
