Does the Virtual IP Address in a VRRP HSB Scenario Exist?
The virtual IP address exists on the active device but does not exist on the standby device. The standby device learns the virtual IP address using ARP, and this IP address exists only when the standby device is switched to the active state. During a ping test, only the active device can ping the actual IP address of the downlink switch. PEAP authentication is deployed on the standby device. If source-ip in the template is set to the virtual IP address, it is normal that AAA authentication fails.
