Are Wi-Fi Signals Hazardous to Human Health?
The radio wave's damage to human health was recorded first during WWI. During WWI, radar began to be widely used. After WWI, radar soldiers appeared to be affected by electromagnetic radiation.
The power of military radar is very high. For example, the average signal transmit power of the AN/APY-1/2 radar is about 10 kW, and its peak power is greater than 500 kW. The transmit power of enterprise and home Wi-Fi APs is less than 0.5 W. Up to now, no evidence is found to prove that the electromagnetic radiation below 1 W has negative effects on human health.
Additionally, the radiation of electronic equipment is strictly regulated in all countries. In the industry, common regulation organizations include Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Conformité Européenne (CE), and State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC) of China. All WLAN APs sold by Huawei in China have been strictly tested by SRRC.
