Fault Case: In AC HSB Scenarios, New STAs Cannot Go Online and All APs Go Offline After an Active/Standby AC Switchover
Symptom
In an AC hot backup scenario, after an active/standby switchover, new STAs cannot go online and all APs go offline.

Cause Analysis
STP is enabled on the AC's interface directly connected to the switch.
Procedure
- After the network cable connecting the active AC to the switch is removed and then connected again, the active AC detects the standby AC and immediately preempts the standby AC. The switchback is performed immediately. The BACKUP state blinks for a short time, causing packet loss (about four or more packets) during the switchback.
- Disable STP on the switch directly connected to the AC.
Suggestion and Summary
Analyze logs to check whether the VRRP switchback time is the same as the switchback delay.
Check the devices that VRRP packets pass through and locate where VRRP packets are discarded.
