How Do I Query the Power of an AP on an AC?
You can run the display actual channel-power ap-id id radio-id id (in V200R005 and earlier versions) or display ap config-info ap-id ap-id (in V200R006 and later versions) command in the WLAN view to query the power reported by the AP on the AC. The displayed AP power consists of three parts: power of the AP radio interface, MIMO gain, and antenna gain.
- You can run the display wifi tx-power radio radio-id (in V200R019C00 and earlier versions) or display lmac tx-power radio radio-id (in V200R019C10 and later versions) command in the diagnostic view to query the power of the AP radio interface.
- MIMO gain is a fixed value and can be calculated using the formula: 10 x ln (n), where n indicates the number of antennas.
- Antenna gain of an AP:
- If an indoor AP is used, the antenna gain is a fixed value. You can query the specifications to obtain the antenna gain of an AP.
- If an outdoor AP is used, you can run the antenna-gain num command in the AP radio view to configure the antenna gain.
