What Should I Do If iTunes Exits Unexpectedly When User Terminals Obtain Service Information Through iTunes?
If the number of available services on the local network exceeds 66, iTunes exits unexpectedly because the service volume is high when user terminals obtain service information through iTunes.
When deploying the mDNS service on the local network, you can perform the following steps to configure the mDNS group function to limit the number of services that can be detected by users.
- Run the mdns group group-name command to create an mDNS group and enter the mDNS group view.
- Run the user-vlan vlan-id &<1-32> command to configure a user VLAN for the mDNS group.
- Run the service-vlan vlan-id &<1-32> command to configure a service VLAN for users in the mDNS group. Service provisioning devices belong to this VLAN.
It is recommended that you set the number of services that can be detected by users to a value ranging from 0 to 66.
