Common AP fault

AP indicator off

PoE power supply

• Check the device SN.
• Replace the power supply port of the switch, Ethernet cable, and PoE adapter, and check whether the fault is rectified.
• Take photos of the device's network ports (checking whether they are corroded by water), nameplate, and PoE adapter.
• Outdoor AP: Check whether the switch and AP are properly grounded.

DC power supply

• Check the device SN and warranty level.
• Replace the power supply and check whether the fault is rectified.
• Take photos of the device and power adapter.

AP indicator on

• Check the device SN and warranty level.
• Check the indicator status.
• Check the switch port status.
• Take photos of the device (checking whether it is corroded by water) and nameplate.
• Check the information displayed on the console port. (For an AP with no physical console port, you can use the CloudCampus APP to collect information through the AP's Bluetooth serial port.)

AC/Central AP fault

Failure to power on

• Check the device SN and warranty level.
• Take photos of the device indicator status.
• Replace the power module or adapter, and check whether the fault is rectified.

Indicator on

Repeated restart or no information displayed

• Check the device SN and warranty level.
• Check the information displayed on the console port.
