Device Structure: Network Cables Cannot Be Tightly Inserted into Ethernet Ports
Symptom
Network cables cannot be tightly inserted into Ethernet ports.
Possible Causes
- Non-standard RJ45 connectors are installed on network cables.
- The network port connectors on the device are faulty.
Procedure
- Replace the RJ45 connectors to check whether the RJ45 connectors in use are standard. If not, advise the customer to use standard RJ45 connectors. (It is recommended that several RJ45 cables be used for onsite cross tests.)
- If the fault persists, insert the RJ45 connectors into other devices to check whether the connectors can be tightly inserted into Ethernet ports.
- If the RJ45 connectors can be tightly inserted into Ethernet ports on other devices, the fault is related to the connectors on the device. Contact technical support personnel.
