Do CE8800&7800&6800&5800 Series Switches Support OSPF and OSPFv3?

Do CE8800&7800&6800&5800 Series Switches Support OSPF and OSPFv3?

OSPF is a basic feature of CE8800&7800&6800&5800 series switches except the CE6810LI and is not under license control.

OSPFv3 is a basic feature of CE8800&7800&6800&5800 series switches except the CE6810LI and CE5855EI and is not under license control.
  • The CE6810LI does not support IPv4 or IPv6 Layer 3 forwarding. After the IPv4 or IPv6 function is enabled on an interface of the CE6810LI, the configured IPv4 or IPv6 address can only be used to manage the switch.

  • In V200R001C00 and earlier versions, the CE5855EI does not support IPv6. However, interfaces on a CE5855EI provide the IPv6 capability when the switch functions as a leaf switch in a super virtual fabric (SVF) system and the SVF forwarding mode is set to centralized or hybrid. In V200R002C50 and later versions, the CE5855EI supports IPv6.
