Failed to Query Fan and Power Supply Information

Fault Description

Fan and power supply information cannot be queried.

<HUAWEI> display device fan
Info: Can't display fan information because CMU is not registered.
<HUAWEI> display device power
Info: Can't display power information because CMU is not registered. 

Common Causes

  • The CMU fails to register.

Troubleshooting Procedure

  1. Check whether the CMU is properly installed. If not, remove and reinstall the CMU.

  2. If the CMU still fails to register, collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration and contact technical support personnel.
