This topic describes battery safety information.

The server has built-in batteries. If a battery is not properly installed or used, an explosion or burning may occur, which causes personal injury. Contact an authorized service provider to replace or maintain batteries. Observe the following battery safety precautions:

  • Do not charge batteries.
  • Do not expose batteries at a temperature above 70°C (158°F).
  • Do not disassemble or squeeze external battery contacts or place batteries in fire or water.
  • Replace a battery only with the one listed or recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Incorrect handling of batteries causes hazards to the environment. Batteries must be disposed of according to the local regulations.
