Checking Device Operating Status

This topic describes how to check the operating status of the chassis and its components after the chassis is powered on.

Operation Scenario

The chassis is powered on. For details, see Powering On.


  1. Check the chassis operating status.

    • All fans run at full speed and then at an even speed. Strong air is exhausted from the air exhaust vents at the rear of the chassis.
    • All fans are properly operating without sharp noises.
    • The operating status indicators on all PSUs and fan modules are steady green.

  2. Check the server node operating status.

    The status indicators and hard disk active indicators on all server nodes are steady green.
