Basic Operations

Selecting a Language
  1. On the login page, click English.

    Pages are displayed in English.

Viewing Information Summary
  1. The Information Summary page displays the system name, serial number, iBMC IP address, iBMC firmware version, basic input/output system (BIOS) firmware version, globally unique identifier (GUID), maximum number of web sessions, and number of online users.
Viewing Help Information
  1. On the System page, click .

    The help information about the current page is displayed.

Viewing User Information
  1. After you log in to iBMC, click the user name (for example, root) in the upper right corner.

    The Current User Info dialog box is displayed, showing the user group to which the user belongs, system IP address, and login time.

Logging Out of iBMC
  1. After you log in to iBMC, click Logout in the upper right corner.

    If the login page is displayed, the logout is successful.

Viewing Alarms
  1. Click an alarm icon in the upper right corner of a page.

    The Current page is displayed, showing the alarm severity, generation time, sensor, and description.

Refreshing the Current Page
  1. Click in the upper right corner of a page.

    The page is refreshed.
