DCU streamer prefetcher allows CPU data to be prefetched, which reduces data read time.

DCUIPPrefetcherEnable

Function for setting DCU IP prefetcher.

DCU IP prefetcher enables the system to check historical records for the data that must be prefetched, which reduces data read time.

CustomPowerPolicy Menu for selecting the energy-saving mode.
PowerSaving Dynamic Energy Management Technology (DEMT) integrating uniBIOS frequency adjustment algorithms developed by Huawei. It can improve energy efficiency test results for servers running specific OSs.

EIST enables CPU frequency to be dynamically adjusted based on workloads.

If this parameter is set to 1, the memory refresh rate will be doubled when the DIMM temperature exceeds 85ºC.

mcODTOverride Function for setting memory controller (MC) on die termination (ODT).

ODT allows the DRAM controller to dynamically control the termination resistance value of DQ/DQS/DM pins on DRAM devices in a variety of ways. The value can be 50 or 100 ohms.

NumaEn Function for setting Non Uniform Memory Access (NUMA).

NUMA that allows memory resources to be dynamically allocated among multiple nodes. It allows the processors to simultaneously access different memory addresses.

IsocEn Function for setting the isochronous flow-control mode.
RASMode Memory RAS mode, which can be independent, mirrored, or lockstep mode.
enableSparing Function for setting Rank Sparing.
multiSparingRanks Haswell CPU supports multiple spare ranks. The number of spare ranks can be set for a channel.

When the number of correctable errors reaches this threshold, an SMI will be triggered and measures will be taken based on the RAS feature configured.

PatrolScrub Function for setting memory patrol scrub.

Memory patrol scrub allows the memory engine to check the memory at a certain speed and correct the correctable errors found and prevent errors from accumulating as uncorrectable errors.

The BIOS creates ELOG entries to record detailed error information for the OS/VMM to predict faults. The log is stored in the reserved memory provided by the BIOS and accessed through the entry address. There is also a WHEA log corresponding to ELOG, and the structure of the WHEA log is defined by ACPI specifications.

EMcaCSmiEn CMCI-to-SMI signals, which can be enabled or disabled.

If this function is disabled, only CMCI will be triggered when correctable errors are detected on the memory. An SMI will be triggered only when the number of errors reaches the threshold.

If this function is enabled, each correctable error will trigger an SMI, which is processed by the BIOS. At the end of the SMI processing function, the BIOS decides whether to send an MCE signal to the OS. This helps to collect more useful information.
