Installing uMate

Installing uMate

  1. Run the following command to go to the directory where the software package is stored:


    [root@localhost /]# cd home 
    [root@localhost home]# ls 
    FusionServer Tools-uMate-Linux-Vxxx.tar.gz
  2. Run the following command to decompress the installation package:

    tar -zxf

    root@localhost home]# tar zxf FusionServer\ Tools-uMate-Linux-Vxxx.tar.gz 
    [root@localhost home]# ls 
    FusionServer Tools-uMate-Linux-Vxxx.tar.gz  uMate-Linux-Vxxx
  3. Run the following command to go to the uMate-Linux-Vxxx directory:


    [root@localhost /]# cd home/uMate-Linux-Vxxx/ 
    [root@localhost uMate-Linux-Vxxx]# ls 
    bin  config  help  hwServers.xls  hwServers.xml  image  jre  lib  serviceConf.xml  template  tools
  • The uMate tool is free of installation and can be used directly after you decompress the software package.
  • is the GUI program.
  • is the CLI program.
  • hwServers.xls and hwServers.xml are server configuration files. You can enter server information by importing configuration files.
