  1. Run the following command to go to the uMate-Linux-Vxxx directory:


    [root@localhost /]# cd home/uMate-Linux-Vxxx/ 
    [root@localhost uMate-Linux-Vxxx]# ls 
    bin  config  help  hwServers.xls  hwServers.xml  image  jre  lib  serviceConf.xml  template  tools

  2. Run the following command to open the uMate main window:


    Figure 4-354 shows the uMate main window.

  3. Click in the upper right corner.

    The main window of system configuration is displayed, as shown in Figure 4-355.

    Set the following parameters, and ensure that the SFTP service is normal.

    • Server IP: specifies the SFTP service IP address.
    • User Name: specifies the SFTP service user name.
    • Password: specifies the SFTP service password.

  4. Click Set to configure the SFTP service on the local PC.
  5. The functions on the uMate Linux GUI are the same as those on the uMate Windows GUI. For details, see GUI.
