A main function module of the CX710, which is used to provide large-capacity service packet forwarding.

The heat sink cools CPUs. Each CPU is configured with one heat sink.

A high-performance processor, which is used to process protocol packets and configuration management.

Midplane signal connectors

The midplane signal connectors exchange data between the CX710 and nodes in front slots.

Midplane power connector

The midplane power connector supplies 12 V DC power.
