How Do I Handle the Problem that NetStream Fragmented Packets Are Not Correctly Collected?

Oversized IP packets are fragmented during transmission. The intermediate forwarding device forwards the fragmented packets, and the destination device reassembles the fragmented packets after receiving them. If some fragmented packets are discarded during transmission due to bandwidth limitation, the packets cannot be reassembled on the destination device. As a result, NetStream fragmented packets are not correctly collected.

To prevent this problem, you need to run the ip virtual-reassembly command to enable virtual fragment reassembly of IP packets. After receiving fragmented packets, the device checks, sorts, and caches the fragmented packets, and then processes the fragmented packets in a unified manner to ensure that IP packets are forwarded or scheduled on the device.
