What Can I Do If a License Becomes Invalid?

If the license of a device becomes invalid, you need to reactivate the license. You can apply for a new license file based on the license revocation code, upload the new license file to the device, and activate it during the trial period of the invalid license.

If a license becomes invalid, the license enters the trial period of 60 days. Services are interrupted after the trial period expires. Reactivate the license during the trial period.
  1. Run the display license revoke-ticket command to check the license revocation code.

  2. Log in to the license website http://app.huawei.com/isdp.
    • If the license becomes invalid because the license revoke command is run mistakenly, choose License Commission And Maintenance > Invalid License Regeneration to access the invalid license regeneration page. Enter the revocation code to regenerate a license file.
    • If the license becomes invalid because the ESN in the license file differs from the device's ESN, choose License Commission And Maintenance > ESN Change to access the ENS change page. Enter the revocation code to regenerate a license file.
  3. After obtaining the new license file, store the license file in the device's storage medium using FTP. Run the license active file-name command in the user view to activate the license.
