How Can I Increase the Negotiated Wireless Rate for Users?

How Can I Increase the Negotiated Wireless Rate for Users?

The negotiated wireless rate for users depends on the following factors supported by user STAs:
  • Channel: To increase the negotiated wireless rate, ensure that channels do not overlap with each other and bandwidth is as high as possible in each channel.

  • Protocol type and encryption mode: 802.11n supports only CCMP encryption but not TKIP encryption. If a STA complies with 802.11n, set the encryption mode to CCMP but not TKIP to achieve the wireless rate supported by 802.11n.

  • Guard interval (GI) mode: A GI can be a common GI of 800 ns or a short GI of 400 ns. A short GI is used in 802.11n and 802.11ac to increase wireless transmission efficiency.
