Failed to Obtain a CRL

Common Causes

This fault is commonly caused by one of the following:

  • No CA certificate is obtained before the CRL is obtained.
  • The URL of the CRL distribution point (CDP) is incorrectly configured.

Troubleshooting Procedure

Procedure

  1. Check whether the CA certificate can be obtained.

    Run the display pki certificate command to check whether the CA certificate exists.

    If the CA certificate does not exist, obtain it.

    If the CA certificate exists, go to step 2.

  2. Check whether the CDP URL is correctly configured.

    If no CDP URL is configured, configure it correctly. If th CDP URL is configured incorrectly, modify the configuration.

    If the fault persists, go to step 3.

  3. Collect the following information and contact technical support personnel.

    • Results of the preceding troubleshooting procedure
    • Configuration files, log files, and alarm files of the device
