A G.SHDSL interface card provides one RJ45 physical interface that can be virtualized into four G.SHDSL interfaces.

As shown in Table 29-18, a G.SHDSL cable uses the standard pin assignment. A cable has four ports, each of them has two lines (A/B). The two lines in a port can be assigned in any sequence, but the wire pairs must be assigned in certain sequence.
