Restoring Factory Settings


This example applies to all AR routers of all versions.

Networking Requirements

As shown in Figure 1-8, there is a reachable route between the PC and the router. When no configuration file is available or the configuration file is lost or damaged, the user wants to log in to the router from the PC and restore factory settings through the web platform, so that the router can start and run normally.

  1. Choose System Management > Upgrade and Maintenance > Restore Factory Settings, as shown in Figure 1-9.

  2. Click Restore Factory Settings.
  3. In the Information dialog box that is displayed, click OK.

    The system then restarts the router and clears the current configuration.
