Configuring Login Through the Web Platform

This example applies to all AR router models of V200R006C10.

Networking Requirements

The PC connects directly to the router, as shown in Figure 1-1. The user wants to log in to the router from the PC through the web platform.

Procedure

  1. Use a network cable to connect the PC to the management interface of the router.

    NOTE:

    AR150&AR160&AR200 have the following factory settings: IP address (192.168.1.1), subnet mask (255.255.255.0), and access interface (VLANIF1). If factory settings are not modified, any of the interfaces from Ethernet0/0/0 to Ethernet0/0/7 can function as the access interface, and the IP address of the access interface is 192.168.1.1. The access interface of AR161, AR161G-L is the management interface.

    For AR120&AR1200&AR2200&AR3200&AR3600, the IP address is 192.168.1.1, subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, and access interface is the management interface.

  2. Assign an IP address to the PC. The IP address ranges from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254.
  3. Open the web browser on your PC, enter the URL https: //192.168.1.1 in the address box, and press Enter. The login page of the web platform is displayed, as shown in Figure 1-2.

  4. Enter login information.

    • Choose a language.

      Currently, the Web platform supports Chinese and English and automatically adapts to the language used by the web browser.

    • Enter the user name and password.

      The default user name and password are admin and Admin@huawei or admin@huawei, respectively.

  5. Click Login.
