Rollback Rules

If an upgrade fails and the version is still the source version, you do not need to perform a rollback. Decide whether to perform a rollback if one of the following problems occurs:

  • A major fault occurs during the upgrade, and the fault cannot be diagnosed and rectified within a specified period.
  • A new version functions abnormally.
  • An upgrade cannot be completed within a specified period. To avoid service interruption if the upgrade proceeds during peak hours, perform a rollback.
