Check alarms generated by the server.

You have logged in to the iBMC WebUI. For details, see Logging In to the iBMC WebUI.


Data preparation is not required for this operation.


  1. Choose Information on the main menu.
  2. In the navigation tree, choose Information Summary, as shown in Figure A-16.

  3. In the Device Health Status area, check alarms of all severities.

    • : indicates a critical alarm. Critical alarms are generated for faults that may power off devices, and even interrupt the system services. Immediate corrective measures are required.
    • : indicates a major alarm. Major alarms are generated for faults that may affect normal running of the system or interrupt services.
    • : indicates a minor alarm. Minor alarms are generated for the faults that do not have major impact on the system. Prompt corrective measures are required to prevent more serious faults.

  4. Choose Alarm & SEL on the main menu.
  5. In the navigation tree, choose Current Alarms, view the alarm information, as shown in Figure A-17.
