Issuing a License
Context
Distributors issue software entitlements online to lower-level resellers or end customers in their transaction routes. In this way, lower-level resellers or end customers can enjoy the rights to manage software licenses online.
- After an entitlement is issued, the issuing status changes to Distributed. After the entitlement is rolled back, the issuing status changes to Undistributed.
- In a sales chain, entitlement issuing is only allowed once for the same partner.
- For multiple entitlements issued at the same time, all the entitlements must belong to the same contract and the recipient company must be the same.
Procedure
- Enter a contract number and other required information, and click Search.
Path: Entitlement Management > My Entitlements > To be Distributed
- Provide the revocation codes to Huawei technical support for license merging.
Select several entitlements and click Distribute Selected. To issue all entitlements, click Distribute All. To issue a single entitlement, click Distribute in the Operation column.
- Enter the recipient company information and click OK. The information in the box marked with * is required.
