show file export_path

Function

This show file export_path command is used to export system data to a directory in the storage system and show the directory to users.

Format

show file export_path file_type=? [ controller_id=? ]

Parameters

file_type=? File type.

The value can be "event", "log", "running_data", "configuration_data", "all_log", "smart", or "workload", where:

  • "event": indicates event files.
  • "log": indicates log files.
  • "running_data": indicates system running data files.
  • "configuration_data": indicates system configuration files.
  • "all_log": indicates all logs of the system.
  • "smart": indicates disk smart info.
  • "workload": workload (only supported by the storage array).
controller_id=? Controller ID.

Controller IDs are separated by commas (,), the value is in the format of "XA","XB","XC","XD", where the "X" is an integer from 0 to 3, for example: "0A","1C". This parameter can be specified only when "file_type" is set to "log", "all_log", or "smart".

Usage Guidelines

  • This "show file export_path" command is used to export system data to a directory in the storage system and show the directory to users.
  • This "show file export_path file_type=? [ controller_id=? ]" command is used to export system data of a specific controller to a directory in the storage system and show the directory to users. The save paths of "log", "all_log", "smart", and "workload" are not returned to users.
  • This command is used by information collection tools to gather system information, best to be run with the "delete file" command on the same node.

Example

To export system configuration data and show the path to users, run the following command.
