show lun general

Function

The show lun general command is used to query information on existing logical unit numbers (LUNs) of the storage system.

Format

show lun general [ lun_id=? | mapping_view_id=? | pool_id=? | lun_name=? | usage_type=? ]

Parameters

lun_id=? ID of the LUN whose information you want to query.

To obtain the value, run "show lun general" without parameters.

mapping_view_id=? ID of a mapping view. Using this parameter queries information on LUNs in a specific mapping view.

To obtain the value, run "show mapping_view general".

pool_id=? ID of a storage pool. Using this parameter queries information on LUNs in a specific storage pool.

To obtain the value, run "show storage_pool general".

lun_name=? Name of the LUN whose information you want to query.

To obtain the value, run "show lun general" without parameters.

usage_type=? Usage type of the LUNs. Using this parameter queries information on LUNs with a specific usage type.

The value can be "Internal" or "External", where,

  • Internal: useage type of the LUNs is "Internal".
  • External: useage type of the LUNs is "Exernal".
  • VVOL LUN: useage type of the LUNs is "VVOL LUN".
  • PE LUN: useage type of the LUNs is "PE LUN".

  • To query information on existing LUNs of the storage system, run "show lun general".
  • To query information on a specific LUN, run "show lun general lun_id=?".
  • To query information on a specific LUN, run "show lun general lun_name=?".
  • To query information on LUNs in a specific storage pool, run "show lun general pool_id=?".
  • To query information on LUNs in a specific mapping view, run "show lun general mapping_view_id=?".
  • To query information on LUNs in a specific usage type, run "show lun general usage_type=?".

Indicates the amount of data that can be migrated to storage tier 0, 1, or 2.

Indicates whether to be added to a LUN group.

Mirror Type

Indicates the mirror type.

Thresholds Switch

Switch of the alarm function when the threshold of a thin LUN is reached.(If the LUN is not a thin LUN, "--" is displayed.)

Thresholds Percent(%)

Threshold for triggering an alarm in a thin LUN.(If the LUN is not a thin LUN, "--" is displayed.)

Progress(%)

Indicates the progress of data destruction.

Pool ID

Indicates the storage pool ID.

IO Priority

Indicates the I/O priority.

Usage Type

Usage type of the LUNs.

HyperMetro ID(s)

Indicates the IDs of HyperMetro tasks.
