Function

The change service http command is used to modify the HTTP configuration.

Format

change service http { max_connections=? | running_status=? | root_directory=? | enable_web_dav=? | enable_http_port=? | enable_auto_index=? } *

Parameters

Value

max_connections=? Maximum number of connections.
The value is an integer from 1 to the maximum number of connections.
NOTE:
Devices of different models support different maximum number of links. For details, see section "Software Specifications" in the product description.
running_status=? Running status.

The value can be "stop" or "running", where:

  • "stop": stops the service.
  • "running": starts the service.
root_directory=? HTTP root directory.

The value contains 1 to 4000 characters.

enable_web_dav=? Web Dav status.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": enables the Web Dav.
  • "no": disables the Web Dav.
enable_http_port=? HTTP port status.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": enables the HTTP port.
  • "no": disables the HTTP port.
enable_auto_index=? Status of the directory list function.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": enables the directory list function.
  • "no": disables the directory list function.

Example

  • Modify the HTTP configuration.

    admin:/>chane service http max_connections=100 running_status=running root_directory=/fs0/http enable_web_dav=no enable_http_port=no
    Command executed successfully.
  • Enable the HTTP port.

    admin:/>change service http enable_http_port=yes
    WARNING:You are about to configure the HTTP service. This operation may cause the following issues: 
    1. If the WebDAV function is enabled, this operation assigns resource users full control permission for the HTTP shared root directory. 
    2. If the HTTP port is enabled, this operation enables the insecure HTTP protocol, which may cause user information intercepted and bring security risks to file data access. 
    3. If the HTTP service is disabled, this operation makes the HTTP service provided by the device unavailable. 
    Suggestion: 
    Before performing any of these three operations, ensure that each of them is needed. 
    Have you read warning message carefully?(y/n)y

  • Enable the Web DAV.
