Function

The change disk_domain general command is used to modify the properties of a disk domain, including the disk domain name and hot spare policy for each tier.

Format

change disk_domain general disk_domain_id=? { name=? | tier0_hotspare_strategy=? | tier1_hotspare_strategy=? | tier2_hotspare_strategy=? } *

disk_domain_id=? ID of a disk domain whose properties you want to modify.

To obtain the value, run "show disk_domain general".

name=? New name of a disk domain.

The value contains 1 to 31 digits, letters, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.).

tier0_hotspare_strategy=? New hot spare policy for Tier 0.

The value can be "high" or "low" where:

  • "high": The hot spare level is high.
  • "low": The hot spare level is low.
tier1_hotspare_strategy=? New hot spare policy for Tier 1.

The value can be "high" or "low" where:

  • "high": The hot spare level is high.
  • "low": The hot spare level is low.
tier2_hotspare_strategy=? New hot spare policy for Tier 2.

The value can be "high" or "low" where:

  • "high": The hot spare level is high.
  • "low": The hot spare level is low.
