Application Scenarios

This section describes scenarios where application servers access a storage system.

The OceanStor 18500 V3/18800 V3 storage system enables application servers to access shared files using NFS, CIFS, FTP, or HTTP. Application servers can run different operating systems, including Windows, Linux, UNIX (Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX), and VMware.

Figure 1-6 shows a scenario where application servers access a storage system.
