Routine maintenance activities are the most common activities for the storage device, including powering on or off the storage device, managing users, modifying basic parameters of the storage device, and managing hardware components. This document applies to the system administrators who are responsible for carrying out routine maintenance activities, monitoring the storage device, and rectifying common device faults.

Configuring the Antivirus Agent

This section describes how to obtain, install, and configure the antivirus agent. The antivirus software interworks with third-party antivirus software to provide antivirus services.

Prerequisites

  • The operating system for the antivirus server is Window Server 2008 R2.
  • In a firewall environment, you must enable the boot port of the antivirus software's agent.

Procedure

  1. Obtain the installation package of the antivirus agent.
    1. Log in to OceanStor DeviceManager.
    2. Choose Settings > AntiVirus > Antivirus Server.

      The Antivirus server page is displayed.

    3. In the lower right part of the page, click Download.

      The Warning dialog box is displayed.

    4. Carefully read the content of the dialog box, select I have read and understood the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
    5. In the File Download dialog box that is displayed, click Save, specify a save path, and click Save.
  2. Log in to the antivirus server.

    NOTE:

    3 to 6 are performed on the antivirus server.

  3. Install the antivirus agent.
    1. Decompress the downloaded file package.
    2. Double-click AntivirusAgentSetup.exe.
    3. Install the antivirus agent according to the installation guide.
  4. Set a start account.
    1. Start the Server Manager management page.
    2. In the navigation tree, choose Server Manager > Configuration > Services.

      The Services page is displayed.

    3. Right-click Antivirus Agent Watchdog and choose Properties.

      The Antivirus Agent Watchdog Properties dialog box is displayed.

    4. On the Log On tab in the dialog box, choose This account, enter the user name and password, and confirm the password.

      NOTE:
      This user is an antivirus domain user of the AntivirusGroup antivirus group on the storage system.

    5. Click OK.

      The starting account is successfully set.

  5. Optional: Configure antivirus-related ports.
    1. In the installation directory, locate and click the configuration file of the antivirus agent.
    2. Configure a boot port of the agent and a communication port of ICAP antivirus software.

      In the configuration file, Port is the boot port for the agent (the default port number is 26810), and IcapPort is the communication port of ICAP antivirus software (the default port number is 1344).

      NOTE:
      You can modify the agentConfig.ini configuration file to change port configuration parameters based on the actual configuration of the system.

  6. Restart the antivirus software.

    The installation and configuration of the antivirus agent are complete.
