Routine maintenance activities are the most common activities for the storage device, including powering on or off the storage device, managing users, modifying basic parameters of the storage device, and managing hardware components. This document applies to the system administrators who are responsible for carrying out routine maintenance activities, monitoring the storage device, and rectifying common device faults.

Logging In to the SystemReporter

Logging In to the SystemReporter

You can log in to the SystemReporter using a web browser, and then you can analyze the performance and comparison of the cluster system.

Prerequisites

The SystemReporter has been installed, and the SystemReporter version needs to match with the device version.

Procedure

  1. On the management terminal, open a browser.

    NOTE:

    This document uses Windows and Internet Explorer 9.0 as an example to explain how to log in to the SystemReporter.

    Ensure that Internet Explorer 9.0 is not working in compatibility view mode. If the browser is not compatible with the SystemReporter, adjust the browser settings as prompted.

  2. Type https://IP address:port in the address box and press Enter.

    • IP address indicates the System communication IP address when install the SystemReporter.
    • port indicates the HTTPS service port, default port is 8088. If an HTTPS or HTTP service port is manually specified during the software installation, use the specified port instead of port.

  3. If There is a problem with this website's security certificate is displayed, click Continue to this website (not recommended) to go to the SystemReporter login page.
  4. Optional: Set Language as required.
  5. Set Username, Password, and Verification code and click Login.

    By default, Username is admin. For details about the default password, see SystemReporter Security Configuration Guid of corresponding.

    NOTE:
    • Both the user name and password are case-sensitive.
    • For security purposes, you are advised to change the default password at your first login.
