Routine maintenance activities are the most common activities for the storage device, including powering on or off the storage device, managing users, modifying basic parameters of the storage device, and managing hardware components. This document applies to the system administrators who are responsible for carrying out routine maintenance activities, monitoring the storage device, and rectifying common device faults.

Browsing Information About a Hyper-V Instance

This operation allows you to view basic information about created Hyper-V instances.

Prerequisites

At least one Hyper-V instance has been created in the storage system.

Procedure

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Go to the Hyper-V page.

    The operation path varies with user types:
    • System user: Click vStore, select the desired vStore, and click Details to go to the vStore view. Choose Provisioning > Application.
    • vStore user: In the vStore view, choose Provisioning > Application.

  3. In the function pane, view information about a Hyper-V instance.

    Table 7-10 describes the related parameters.
