create clone


The create clone command is used to create clone tasks.


create clone name=? lun_id=? [ clone_id=? ]





name=? Name of a clone task that you want to create.

The value contains 1 to 31 characters including digits, letters, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.).

lun_id=? ID of a primary logical unit number (LUN).

To obtain the value, run "show lun general".

clone_id=? ID of a clone task.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 1023.

This parameter will be auto-assigned if you do not assign it a value.



Usage Guidelines



  • To create a clone task, where the name of the task is "newclone002", the primary LUN is LUN "4", and the task will be automatically assigned an ID.

    admin:/>create clone name=newclone002 lun_id=4
    Command executed successfully.
  • To create a clone task, where the name of the task is" myclone", the primary LUN is LUN "3", and the task will be assigned ID "2".

    admin:/>create clone name=myclone lun_id=3 clone_id=2
    Command executed successfully.
