change host_auto_scan


The change host_auto_scan command is used to enable or disable the function of automatically discovering hosts.


change host_auto_scan switch=?





switch=? Enables or disables the function of automatically discovering hosts.

The value can be "on" or "off", where

  • "on": enables the function.
  • "off": disables the function.



Usage Guidelines

If enable the function of automatically discovering hosts, a virtual LUN smaller than 1 MB may be detected on the host. The LUN can receive in-band commands, but cannot be read or written. Ignore this LUN when configuring services on the host.


  • Enabling the function of automatically discovering hosts.

    admin:/>change host_auto_scan switch=on
    Command executed successfully.
  • Disabling the function of automatically discovering hosts.

    admin:/>change host_auto_scan switch=off
    Command executed successfully.
