remove mapping_view host_group command is used to remove a host group from a mapping view.


remove mapping_view host_group mapping_view_id=? host_group_id=?





mapping_view_id=? Mapping view ID.

To obtain the value, run "show mapping_view general".

host_group_id=? Host group ID.

To obtain the value, run "show mapping_view host_group".



Usage Guidelines



Remove host group "0" from mapping view "1".

admin:/>remove mapping_view host_group mapping_view_id=1 host_group_id=0
WARNING: You are about to unmap the host group and the mapping view. This operation will prevent hosts in the host group from accessing LUNs in the mapping view.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the selected mapping view and host group are correct, and stop the host services running on the LUNs in the mapping view.
