show remote_device general

Function

The show remote_device general command is used to query information on remote devices.

Format

show remote_device general [ scope=? ] [ remote_device_id=? ] [ array_type=? ]

Parameters

remote_device_id=? ID of a remote device.

To obtain the value, run "show remote device general" without parameters.

scope=? Scope of a query.

The value can be:

  • "linked_array": The remote devices that have been connected to the storage system will be queried for.
  • "all": Any created remote devices will be queried for no matter those devices have connected to the storage system or not.
array_type=? Type of a remote device.

The value can be:

  • replication:The remote device is made by Huawei.
  • heterogeneity:The remote device is made by a third-party manufacturer.

  • The following parameters or parameter sets are mutually exclusive: scope, remote_device_id, and array_type.2:Run the show remote_device general command to query the information about all remote devices.3:Run the show remote_device general remote_device_id= command to query the information about a specified remote device.4:Run the show remote_device general scope= command to query the information about remote devices in a specified scope.5:Run the show remote_device general array_tppe= command to query the information about remote devices with a specified type.
