Function

remove lun_copy other_vendor_target command is used to remove target logical unit numbers (LUNs) from a LUN copy, where the LUNs reside on third-party storage systems.

Format

remove lun_copy other_vendor_target lun_copy_id=? target_lun_wwn=?

To obtain the value, run "show lun_copy general".

target_lun_wwn=? World Wide Name (WWN) of a remote LUN.

To obtain the value, run "show remote_lun general".

Usage Guidelines

  • Targget LUNs can not be removed from a LUN Copy which is in the state of copying or pause.
  • A LUUN Copy must have one target LUN at least.
  • Runnning this command permanently removes the copy relationship between the selected source and target LUNs.
  • Befoore running this command, ensure that the selected target LUN is exactly the one you want to remove from the selected LUN copy.
  • If aa LUN copy task disrupts due to a failed target LUN, removing the target LUN resumes the LUN copy task.

Example

To remove the target LUN whose WWN is "60:02:2a:11:00:0b:81:68:00:02:93:94:00:00:00:11" from remote replication "0".
