change audit_strategy

Function

The change audit_strategy command is used to modify the audit log policy of a specific service.

Format

change audit service_type=? [ enable=? | file_system_id=? | file_system_name=? | single_file_size=? | reserve_file_num=? ]*

service_type=? Service type.

To obtain the value, run the "show audit_strategy" command without parameters.

enable=? Audit log switch.

The value can be "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": The audit loggiong for a specific service will be enabled.
  • "no": The audit loggiong for a specific service will be disabled.
The default value is "no".
file_system_id=? ID of the audit log file system.

The value is an integer between 0 and 65535. To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command without parameters.

file_system_name=? Name of the audit log file system.

The value consists of 1 to 255 ASCII characters including numbers, letters, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.). To obtain the value, run the "show file_system general" command without parameters.

single_file_size=? Size of a single log file.

The unit is MB. The value ranges from 10 to 20. The initial value is "10 MB".

reserve_file_num=? Maximum number of reserved files.

The unit is k. The value ranges from 1 to 100. The initial value is "10k".

Usage Guidelines

  • The "enable" parameter is mutually exclusive with the other four parameters.

Example

  • Enable audit logging for the NAS service.

    admin:/>change audit_strategy service_type=NAS enable=yes
    Command executed successfully.
  • Set the audit log policy of the NAS service as follows: setting the file system ID, size of a single file, and number of reserved files to 1, 11 MB, and 2000, respectively.

    admin:/>change audit_strategy service_type=NAS file_system_id=1 single_file_size=11 reserve_file_num=2
    Command executed successfully.
