add kmc general


The add kmc general command is used to add the configuration information of a key management server.


add kmc general type=? port=? { kmc_server_ip=? | kmc_server_domain_name=? }





kmc_server_ip=? IP address of the key management server.


kmc_server_domain_name=? Domain name of the key management server.

The value consists of 2 to 255 case-insensitive letters, digits, and hyphens (-). Domain names at various levels are separated by periods (.) and cannot start or end with a hyphen (-). The top-level domain name cannot contain digits only.

type=? Type of the key management server.

The value can be "Thales_kmip" or "SafeNet_kmip", where:1:"Thales_kmip": Thales key management server.2:"SafeNet_kmip": SafeNet key management server.

port=? ID of the port of the key management server.

The value ranges from 1 to 65535.

  • This command is used to add the configuration information of a key management server.2:Parameters "kmc_server_ip" and "kmc_server_domain_name" are mutually exclusive.
