The show system media_scan command is used to query the disk media scanning information including the running status and execution period.

Usage Guidelines



To query the disk media scanning information, run the following command, The command output varies depending on a specific product.

System Response

The following table describes the parameter meanings.



Execute Status

Whether to start or stop disk media scanning.

IO Type

I/O type of media scanning.


Recovery scanning period.

Single Disk Max Bandwidth(Mbps)

Bandwidth for scanning the disk after the bad sector is detected.

Disk Usage Threshold(%)

Disk usage threshold, indicating the percentage of the occupied disk space in the total disk space. When the percentage of the occupied disk space is greater than the threshold, media scanning is stopped automatically.

Concurrently Scanned Disk Number

Number of concurrently scanned disks, indicating the number of disks that can be scanned concurrently.

Bandwidth for scanning disks(Mbps)

Bandwidth for scanning the disk before the bad sector is detected.
