The delete kmc general command is used to delete the configuration information of key management servers.

Format

delete kmc general id=?

The value ranges from 1 to 2.

Usage Guidelines

This command is used to delete the configuration information of the key management servers. You can view the existing KMC configuration information by running the "show kmc general" command and find the configuration information that you want to delete by configuration information ID.

Example

Delete the configuration information of key management servers.

admin:/>delete kmc general id=1
DANGER: You are about to delete the configuration information for the key management center. This may cause the encrypted hard disk in use fail to pass the re-authentication process if the configuration information is invalid. And the application service to these disks will be interrupted if the re-authentication process fail after system re-boot.
Suggestion: Before running the command, please confirm if you would need import the new configuration information after you delete the old configuration information. Please also check whether the application service is interrupted.
