delete lun_copy


The delete lun_copy command is used to delete logical unit number (LUN) copies.


delete lun_copy lun_copy_id=?





lun_copy_id=? ID of a LUN copy.

To obtain the value, run "show lun_copy general".



Usage Guidelines

  • Running this command permanently removes the copy relationship between the source and target LUNs for the selected LUN copy.
  • Before running this command, ensure that the selected LUN copy is exactly the one you want to delete.
  • Before running this command, ensure that the selected LUN copy is neither in the copying nor the paused state.


To delete LUN copy "2", run the following command:

admin:/>delete lun_copy lun_copy_id=2
WARNING: You are about to delete LUN copy. This operation will remove the LUN copy relationship between source LUN and target LUN. This operation cannot be undone.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the selected LUN copy is correct.
