change service ndmp_config


The change service ndmp_config command is used to modify the NDMP configuration.


change service ndmp_config { is_enabled=? | port=? | ip=? | restore_quota=? | support_snapshot=? | ignore_ctime=? } *





is_enabled=? Whether to enable the NDMP service.

The value can be "yes" or "no".

  • "yes": enables the NDMP service.
  • "no": disables the NDMP service.
port=? Port ID.

The value must be an integer from 10000 to 10099.

ip=? Listen IP address.


restore_quota=? Quota restored to the file system.

The value must be an integer from 0 to 100.

support_snapshot=? Whether to support snapshots. This parameter is valid in developer mode only. For details about how to log in to developer mode, see Restricted Command Reference.

The value can be "yes" or "no".

  • "yes": Snapshots are supported.
  • "no": Snapshots are not supported.
ignore_ctime=? Whether to ignore the ctime during backup.

The value can be "yes" or "no".

  • "yes": The ctime is ignored.
  • "no": The ctime is not ignored.



Usage Guidelines



  • Modify the NDMP configuration.

    admin:/>change service ndmp_config port=10000 ip= restore_quota=95 ignore_ctime=no
    Command executed successfully.
  • Modify the NDMP configuration.

    admin:/>change service ndmp_config is_enabled=yes
    Command executed successfully.
  • Close the NDMP service.

    admin:/>change service ndmp_config is_enabled=no
    WARNING:You are about to disable the NDMP service. This operation causes the NDMP service provided by the storage device unavailable. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the NDMP service is no longer needed.
